GLAMPING
Forget everything you know about camping and savor the taste of glamping, or in good Norwegian: glamorous camping. Here, you get close to nature and adventure without sacrificing comfort.
Experience the magical atmosphere as the tents stand and illuminate in the evening darkness, and wake up in a comfortable bed to the sound of birdsong and the sun shimmering through the tent fabric.
Stay in one of our spacious 2- or 4-person canvas tents overlooking the beautiful Randsfjorden. The tents are romantically furnished with beds, chairs, rugs, and enchanting lighting.
They have power outlets and a fan heater to keep it warm and dry in all kinds of weather. The tents are 4 or 5 meters in diameter and have a 3-meter ceiling height in the middle. On sunny days, the walls can be rolled up, allowing the cool air along the ground to act as natural "air conditioning."
Each tent has access to toilet and shower facilities. There are outdoor furniture in front of the tents.
The glamping season at Thorbjørnrud starts on May 24th and closes on September 8th.
