For us a "food hotel" means that the most important added value for our hotel guests is the food and what we can offer in terms of unique and local dining experiences.
We have several acres of kitchen gardens as well as a good collaboration with surrounding farms regarding the delivery of meat, dairy products and the vegetables we do not produce ourselves. We also brew our own beer here at the hotel. Down towards the Randsfjord is also our lush hotel garden, which supplies us with vegetables, ornamental flowers, fruit and berries.
